In February of 2004, two mechanical engineers teamed together to form Goforth Williamson, Inc. With over 30 years of rotating equipment experience between them, Travis and David focused on developing GWI into a customer-oriented service company. Since that time, GWI has grown to a company with over 40 full time employees. The Employees of GWI are specialist in their fields. They have a vast knowledge of pumping equipment and the applications they are used in. The employees have experience from Original Equipment Manufacturers, motor shops, contractors, machine shops and other rotating equipment repair facilities. Goforth Williamson, Inc. has well over 200 years of combined experience in pump repairs, field service, machining, drafting, new product sales, dynamic balancing, and welding. With the focus of developing a great team to service our customers, GWI has grown from a company that started in David’s basement to the specially equipped facility now in Griffin, GA. GWI has grown from our faith, work ethic, and sincere desire to provide our customers with the best possible service available. Our team looks forward to setting the standard for customer service and support.

    GWI’s first pump repair job completed in David’s basement.
  • 2005
    GWI's first employee hired, Michael Scott.
  • 2006
    Over 1M in sales. Built
    7500 sq. ft. shop and office in Griffin, Georgia.
  • 2007
    Griffin became home for all GWI operations.
  • 2008
    Purchased first service truck with utility bed to meet the demand for on-site service work.
  • 2009
    Became a distributor of new pumps, "Pentair Products" First salesman hired Andy Bramlett.
  • 2010
    Hired first Applications Engineer, Reggie Light
  • 2011
    Leased an additional 15,000 sq. ft. shop & office building next to GWI facilities to expand operations.
  • 2012
    Over 5M in sales. First engineering team employee hired, Greg Ely.
  • 2013
    Purchased F550 service truck with 7500 lb. boom to meet continual growth and demand of on-site service work.
  • 2016
    Implemented GWI Controls Division.
  • 2018
    Implemented our first remote field service division in Savannah, GA.
  • 2019
    Over 12M in sales.
  • 2020
    Purchased Gilbert Pump & Mechanical in Ft. Walton Beach, FL. GWI can now provide pump products & services in Alabama, Florida (panhandle) & Georgia.
